The Nigeria police Force have declared a 39 years old Babatunde Ganiyu
OLUSUNMADE, wanted for involvement in homosexuality. The accused person who lives at NO 35 Abule Ishale town ILOGBO road Ogun State is accused of violating the country anti-gay law due to his alleged involvement in the act.
The police had declared the suspect wanted, after his partner one Emmanuel Adeluola was arrested in August 17 2025 at his home Abule-Ishale, Ilogbo, Iju Ota Ogun state, where the act was believed to have taken place.
The police source who pleaded anonymity while speaking on the wanted suspect said his same sex partner was very helpful in giving vital information about their alleged act.
He further said, police have vowed to use all legal machinery to arrest the suspect to face full wrath of the law in Nigeria to serve as a deterrent to others committing unnatural sexual offences in the country.
Police have urged the general public to hand Babatunde Ganiyu Olusunmade over to the nearest police station/officer if found.
Homosexuality is a serious crime in Nigeria, and whoever is found culpable of the act is liable to spend at least fourteen years in prison.
