St. Joseph’s Secondary School Auke is gearing up for a big celebration. it was reported that it is going to be quite an interesting events, as community leaders, top politicians, and philanthropists are set to grease the occasion of the school’s 40th anniversary and graduation ceremonies of her 2025 set of students.
This momentous occasion will mark a significant milestone in the school’s history, and the planned attendance of prominent figures is a testament to the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and community development
In the statement issued by the school management under leadership of Rev. Fr. Owiocho Evans Innocent revealed that; the expected remarkable celebration of the institution, is due to her commitment to academic excellence and character development for the past 40 years of existence hence, the call for this remarkable and historic celebration.
He further stated that , the event Will be hosted by His Lordship Most Rev. Michael Ekwoyi Apochi (Catholic Bishop of Otukpo Diocese) and Comr. Adams Ogwola Ochega the Executive chairman of APA as Co-host while HRH Augustine Ododo Amonjenu (The Agbo of Auke) will lead the members of Auke traditional council in honoring the school’s epoch milestones. Other invited high profile personalities include: Hon. Pst. Ojotu Ojema member Representating APA/AGATU Federal constituency, Hon. Abu James Umoru member Representating Apa state constituency, Chief Dr. David Olofu one of the leading BENUE South senatorial aspirant and Dr. Simon Omachoko as Special Guest of Honour.
The event will be chaired by Hon. Engr. Solomon Eigege Oloche and Mr. Benard Negedu as vice Chairman while Amb. Dr. Mercy Halima Abutu and Mrs. Justina Momoh Onehi will be the chairlady and vice chairlady respectively. Special Guests of honor include: Hon. Dr. Jeffrey Isima, Hon. Benjamin Omakolo,Hon. Joy Onyemowo Ameh Okpainmo, Bishop Cephas Okwori,Hon. Bar. Augustine Echo Esq, Hon. Eric Ameh, Hon. Owiocho Apochi , Hon. Gabriel Unah Kingsley and the entire members of the old students association.
Notable sons and daughters of Auke who have proven to be resourceful in Nigeria’s national educational sector Prof. SHAIBU Idoga, Prof. Sylvester Adejo and Prof. Rev. Abraham Adams will serve as Fathers of the day.
Meanwhile, the expected colorful event will be taking place live at school premises with series of presentations Rev. Fr. Dr. Francis Atama will shall be the guest speaker of the day, followed by other colorful events.
