AMB. ADAKOLE JAMES SALE BAGS MIDDLEBELT EXCELLENT RECOGNITION AWARD

The Chief Founder of Adakole For Peace Initiative, Ambassador Adakole James Sale, has been honoured with the 2025 Middlebelt Excellent Recognition Award (MBERA) as the Most Outstanding Young Male Humanitarian of the Year.

The prestigious award ceremony, an annual event organized by Middlebelt Time Magazine—one of the region’s most popular celebrity soft-sell and online platforms—celebrates individuals making significant societal impact through humanitarian efforts.

While presenting the award, the Publisher of Middlebelt Time Magazine, Mr. Mark Uloko, said the recognition was based on merit, citing Amb. Adakole’s unwavering dedication, consistency, and visible contributions to humanitarian causes over the years. He described Adakole as a beacon of hope whose activities have resonated beyond his immediate environment.

“Ambassador Adakole James Sale has remained a passionate advocate for peace and development through his foundation, Adakole For Peace Initiative. After a rigorous nomination and public voting process, he emerged as the people’s choice,” Uloko stated.

Receiving the award on behalf of Amb. Adakole, the Supervisory Councillor for Revenue, Agatu Local Government Area, and Chairman of Adakole For Peace Initiative, Hon. Adakole Ojema, expressed profound gratitude to the organisers for acknowledging the foundation’s efforts. He described the recognition as exceptional and reaffirmed the foundation’s commitment to promoting peace and stability, especially in the APA/Agatu region, to foster sustainable development.

Also speaking at the event, Comrade Atai Yusuf Ogbole, a member of the award delegation, noted: “This recognition is more than an award; it is a strong motivation and encouragement to intensify efforts toward societal transformation. The vision of Adakole For Peace Initiative is clear, impactful, and already yielding results, particularly in restoring peace across Agatu communities.”

He further described Amb. Adakole as a visionary, goal-driven young leader whose work continues to inspire hope and unity.
