In recognition of his outstanding service and transformative leadership, the outgoing Medical Director of the Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital, Kware, Professor Shehu Sale, has been honoured with the traditional title of Zaruman Kware by the District Head of Kware, Alhaji Muhammadu Dan’iya.
The title was formally conferred during a colorful installation ceremony held on Saturday, marking the conclusion of Prof. Sale’s successful tenure as Medical Director.
In his remarks at the event, Alhaji Dan’iya extolled Prof. Sale for his exceptional contributions to the growth and development of the hospital and the broader Kware community. He highlighted the remarkable infrastructural advancements and enhanced service delivery achieved under Prof. Sale’s stewardship.
A distinguished Consultant Psychiatrist and Master Trainer, Prof. Sale was also lauded for his commitment to community empowerment, particularly his role in facilitating the recruitment of numerous Kware indigenes into the hospital’s workforce.
The traditional title of Zaruman Kware—a symbol of honour and trust—serves as a public acknowledgment of Prof. Sale’s dedication, integrity, and impactful service to both the institution and the local community.
