It was a moment of high praise and heartfelt unity as the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Olohundare Moshood Jimoh, touched down at Area F Police Command for a powerful familiarization visit that’s got everyone talking!

Rolling in with his top brass — DCP Salihu Khan (Admin), DCP Fatai Tijani (Ops), and ACP Ops — the CP met face-to-face with his men and the people, promising a stronger, smarter Lagos Police Force.

Area Commander ACP Paul Azuka Okafor rolled out the red carpet and didn’t mince words — he saluted the CP for honoring Area F, adding that his officers and men are boots-on-the-ground, committed to smashing crime and keeping Ikeja safe.

Heavyweights in attendance included DPOs, tactical officers, inspectors, PCRC members, and the entire rank and file. But the real buzz came from the Arewa Community of Ikeja, who turned out in full force with thunderous commendations!

Adamu Ibrahim, Chairman of Arewa Ikeja, stole the spotlight, praising CSP Ayo Elijah of MAN Center for his outstanding handling of community matters. His speech drew loud applause, as he emphasized the DPO’s dedication to peace and professionalism.

Abubakar Ibrahim, Seriki of Ikeja, took it spiritual — praying for CP Moshood Jimoh’s continued rise through the ranks and urging him to keep Lagos safe for all.

Other respected Arewa leaders present included:

Mallam Musa Abdullah (Seriki Hausawa, Ikeja)

Aliyu Ibrahim (District Head, Anifowoshe)

Mohammad M. Umar (Secretary, Arewa Community)

Danjuma Mohammad (Adviser)

Ali Mohamed (Treasurer)

Abdul Ibrahim (Assistant Secretary)

Not left out, Igbo community leaders, women, youth, and traders also came out to show love and solidarity, proving that when it comes to security — unity is the name of the game!

As the CP continues his familiarization across the state, one thing is clear: the people are ready, the police are prepared — and Lagos is safer together!
