Rainbow Hall of Fame Award Set for 12th Edition in Lagos
Preparations have reached an advanced stage for the 12th edition of the prestigious Rainbow Hall of Fame Award (RAHFA), a respected recognition platform dedicated to celebrating excellence and honouring outstanding individuals across diverse sectors of society.
The highly anticipated Season 12 of the award ceremony is scheduled to hold on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.
According to the organisers, the event will officially commence at 11:00 a.m., while the red carpet reception begins at 10:00 a.m., ushering in distinguished guests, nominees, media representatives, corporate partners and invited dignitaries from various sectors.
Established twelve years ago by Niyi Johnson Omogbenigun under the umbrella of Rainbowlights Production, the Rainbow Hall of Fame Award has grown steadily into a reputable and influential platform that recognises individuals who have demonstrated remarkable achievements, visionary leadership and meaningful contributions to society.
Over the years, the award has honoured prominent personalities from Nigeria, across Africa and within the African diaspora who have distinguished themselves in sectors such as business, entertainment, public service, entrepreneurship, philanthropy, education and community development.
Speaking ahead of the upcoming ceremony, Omogbenigun explained that the vision behind the Rainbow Hall of Fame Award is to celebrate excellence while inspiring individuals to strive for greater impact within their respective fields.
He noted that the initiative was created not only to acknowledge remarkable accomplishments but also to spotlight individuals whose dedication, innovation and commitment to societal development serve as inspiration for younger generations.
According to him, the award platform remains firmly committed to promoting a culture of excellence by recognising individuals who have distinguished themselves among their peers and made lasting contributions within their industries and communities.
Among the most prestigious categories of the award are the highly coveted Rainbow Man of the Year and Rainbow Woman of the Year, which represent the pinnacle of the honours presented during the ceremony. These categories celebrate individuals whose leadership, influence and contributions have significantly shaped their sectors and positively impacted society.
Recipients of the various awards will be presented with a customised Gold Award Plaque, an Official Certificate of Recognition, as well as a special feature in the 44-page commemorative edition of Rainbow Magazine, which showcases the profiles, achievements and inspiring journeys of the honourees.
