A new dawn is breaking in Nigeria’s gospel music landscape as the multi-talented gospel artiste, philanthropist, and visionary leader, Dr. Ajoke Ogunsan, popularly known as Dr. Ajokesings, unveils a groundbreaking platform to discover and empower young gospel music talents across the nation.
Under the inspiring umbrella of the Symphony of Praise and Worship with Dr. Ajokesings (SPAW), the maiden edition of the SPAW Talent Quest is set to hold its grand finale on Friday, 31st October 2025, at Regal Hall, Plot A3C, Ikosi Road, Ikeja, Lagos, beginning at 3:00 p.m. prompt.
The SPAW Talent Quest is not just another competition; it is a divine mission and mentorship movement designed to nurture, refine, and launch emerging gospel artistes into both spiritual and professional excellence.
From over 100 aspiring gospel artistes who initially signified interest, only 50 exceptional finalists have emerged to compete in the live grand finale. These finalists—drawn from various parts of Nigeria—will showcase their creativity, originality, vocal power, and stage presence before an eminent panel of judges comprising respected music ministers, producers, and industry veterans.
The event promises to be a spectacular fusion of worship, inspiration, and artistic brilliance, spotlighting the immense reservoir of gospel talent in the country while reinforcing the spiritual essence of gospel music as a tool for transformation and global impact.
To make the experience even more rewarding, the organizers have put together an impressive package of prizes and opportunities worth over ₦3 million. The first prize winner will go home with ₦750,000 and other exclusive promotional privileges; the second-place winner will receive ₦500,000, while the third-place winner will earn ₦350,000. Additional benefits such as mentorship, recording sessions, media exposure, and performance opportunities will also be extended to top participants.
