A wave of joy and gratitude swept through the elders’ WhatsApp platform of the Assemblies of the Lord Called Ones (ALCO), Lagos, as news broke of their son, Brother Joshua Akpoga Uloko’s election as the General Secretary of the Crime Reporters Association of Nigeria (CRAN). The elders, recognizing the significance of his new position, poured out heartfelt congratulations, scriptural blessings, and fervent prayers upon him, celebrating what they unanimously described as “a divine elevation.”
Joshua’s victory at the CRAN election held on May 16, 2025, came as he unseated the incumbent secretary—a feat that the elders did not attribute merely to human effort but to divine orchestration. To them, this was not just a professional promotion but a kingdom assignment.
In a flurry of encouraging messages and spiritual affirmations on their WhatsApp platform, the ALCO elders acknowledged God’s hand in Joshua’s journey and called him to carry the banner of Christ boldly in his new sphere of influence. one of the elders, who private chat wrote: “The Lord who has opened this door will establish you in it. May your life and leadership in CRAN reflect the character of Christ and draw others to His light.”
Another elder, called, “You are not just representing a professional body—you are Christ’s ambassador. Let integrity, truth, and humility continue to mark your path.”
The elders also used the opportunity to intercede for Joshua, praying for wisdom, discernment, and the courage to stand for righteousness in an industry often faced with moral and ethical challenges. Drawing from Proverbs 3:5–6, they encouraged him to lean not on his own understanding but to acknowledge God in all his decisions, trusting that He will direct his path.
